Peach Dumplings from One Ash Farm Recipes



The peaches have been so good in South Carolina this year and I just can’t resist adding another peach post to the blog!  

This is a quick and easy way to make peach dumplings
 (you could also substitute apples).

Peach Dumplings from One Ash Farm Recipes

2 large peaches, peeled and pitted
1- 8 oz. cans crescent rolls
1 sticks butter
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1- 12 oz. can Mountain Dew (6 oz. needed for the recipe)

Slice the peaches into 8 slices.  
Roll each slice in a crescent roll and place in a buttered 9×13 pan.
Melt the butter and add the sugar and vanilla, stirring gently.
Pour over the rolls in the pan.
Pour the 6 oz. of Mountain Dew around the edges of the pan.
Sprinkle with cinnamon.
Bake at 350° for 40 minutes.
Spoon extra sauce over the dumplings and serve with vanilla ice cream.

  1. Really? Mountain Dew?? I've never heard of such a thing. But count me in. I just ran to the kitchen and put Mountain Dew and crescent rolls on my shopping list. I love peaches (canned 79 quarts this season). We don't drink soda pop so this is really going to be interesting to see howit comes out.
