Just telling someone that God is out there can be sometimes hard for them to believe. Especially children. How can we help show them, “prove” to them if you will, that God is real, that He affects everything in out lives, and that He is there?! This sweet book God, I Know You’re There, by bestselling author Bonnie Rickner Jensen and illustrator Lucy Fleming was offered to me for my review. I was pleased with the beautiful illustrations, and the simple way the author show how God is all around us.
This board book is appropriate to start with your children as soon as you can. They will relate to the illustrations, but especially to the words. Examples like “Wind, I can’t see you. Still I know you’re there. I feel you dance across my face and rustle through my hair” and “Thunder, I can’t watch you. Still I know you’re there. The lightening blinks before you boom! You’re nature’s stormy pair.” Every part of the book relates to something children see or know about. Reading this book with your child gives you an opportunity to remember what God does for us as you teach them.
I was given the opportunity by the publisher to read this book in exchange for my review. YOU as one of my appreciated readers, have the chance to win a copy of this book for yourself! Click on the link below to enter the giveaway-
