It’s been years, well probably decades, since I bought cranberry sauce in a can….That’s because it is so easy to make fresh and at home.
Here is the quick, easy and simple recipe that I have used for all those years- enjoy, and Happy Thanksgiving!
Fresh Cranberry Sauce from One Ash Homestead
Ingredients:
-1 cup water
-1 cup sugar
-1 bag fresh cranberries
Directions:
1.Combine the sugar and water in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
2.Add the cranberries and bring the mixture back to a boil.
3.Turn down the heat and keep at a low boil for 10 minutes.
4.Cool in the pan to room temperature, then transfer to a jar or bowl.
Enjoy!

been doing this for years, it is so simple, now my big boys help with Thanksgiving dinner, and one of them loves to do the cranberries. I’m teaching my boys how to prepare Thanksgiving dinner.
