This is a nice one! Surprised by Oxford, from Evolve Studios, is another new Christian movie and beautiful memoir storyline. And the scenery and filming is absolutely gorgeous! Check out some of the pictures in this post~
Here is the synopsis from the studio-
Caro Drake, a brilliant but emotionally guarded American student, arrives at the University of Oxford with the goal of attaining her PhD. Through a turbulent friendship with a charming young man, she begins to open herself up to mystery, vulnerability, and love.
While movies that are more on the romantic side aren’t for everyone, I am one of those who loves the happy-ending movies from that famous known-for-greeting-cards channel. Yes, the story line can sometimes be predictable, but they do make me feel good in the end. And that’s how Surprised by Oxford was for me. Along with the romance, the unexpected changes beliefs that grow within Caro will keep your interest throughout the film. And the film is sure to have happy moments for your heart!
While I wouldn’t recommend this for the younger kids, this movie is fine for older teens and up. A great one for moms and daughters to see together. Step inside the beauty of Oxford University and discover a timeless story about asking life’s big questions.
