God With Us by Jeremy Pierre is a unique and beautifully illustrated story of the bible written from the perspective of two angels. This book was offered to me by the publisher, Shepherd Press, in exchange for my review, and I honestly was not too sure about it. But I have been pleasantly surprised and pleased with the way God With Us ties together the stories of the bible for children ages 4-12. Although I believe many adults would find it thoroughly delightful and enjoyable!
Children often have trouble putting together the gospel message and through the thoughtful writing and pretty illustrations, author Jeremy Pierre has made God With Us an understandable and real explanation of our journey to our true home with God. The bible stories are put together in a way that can help children understand this sad and wonderful place we live in temporarily on our way to our true home. I am looking forward to sharing this book with my grandchildren, once they are a little older!
