I always appreciate the opportunity to review a new bible, so when Lifeway (Holman Bibles) offered me the chance to check out the CSB Lifeway Women’s Bible I was thrilled. This large (approx. 10″ x 7″) beautifully covered bible included devotionals by some of the most influential Christian women. There is bible study and devotional content from Lisa Harper, Kelly Minter, Priscilla Shirer and many more. The 100+ articles are written to help us understand the text and how we can use it to relate to women’s needs.
While the bible is written for us all, man or woman, there are certainly wonderful and necessary stories and guidance’s that are specific to us as women. The Lifeway Women’s Bible provides easy to read text, charts, tables and maps to help us in our Christian walk as Godly women. I was particular impressed with the maps and the ease of understanding from them.
I also love the soft, textured, leather cover. There are a few colors to choose from, I chose the saddle-leather brown color (they call it butterscotch) and it’s beautiful! The cover makes the thick bible easy to open, keep open, and hold.
If you are looking for a simple, clear way to gain greatly clarity and engagement with Gods word, you might consider the Lifeway Women’s Bible. This is a great gift too!
