Here we go again with a review from one of my favorite authors! Suzanne Woods Fisher has once again blessed us with a compelling and pleasant to read story with A Season on the Wind.
While this story line seemed a little out of character at first for me, I soon was intriqued with the bird-watching photographer and author Ben Zook. As Ben returns to his Amish roots in Stoney Ridge he finds a rare bird indeed- in Penny Weaver. As the memories unfold and the romance ensues, Ben, Penny and her brother Micah are well developed characters who the reader can relate to completely.
Yes, I know, almost all Amish fiction is just a love story at heart. But each one has it’s own timeline and circumstances. A Season on the Wind is unique and different yet still contains the wonderful and enjoyable writing of Suzanne Woods Fisher. If you enjoy clean, Christian fiction I would recommend this book!
