What a fun review this one was to receive! When I was offered this item for review I was pretty excited. I love journaling and keeping notebooks so it was really something I could use. And the thought of having personalized scripture on every page was surely exciting!
The premise behind Christian Journals Direct is something that is unique and makes fantastic gifts, as well as a usable item for yourself. The choices of covers and styles are fantastic! Because I was wanting to use this around the holiday season, I chose a winter cabin scene for my cover. I will be enjoying this journal all winter long. You can choose from so many designs- everything from sunrises to puppies and kittens to patriotic or wildlife to crosses, scripture and more. It was truly a challenge to pick the design I wanted!
When I received the journal it came in a nice box- really good for gift giving.
The journal itself is the perfect size for me- 5.5″ x 8.5″- not too big but plenty large enough to write a day of notes. Each page of the wire loop binding (lay flat binding) book is lined for even and neat penmanship. There’s a spot for the date at the top. And at the bottom of the front side of every page is a scripture verse personalized with my name and selected specifically for each journal user group- so for me it was the women’s verses (you choose the user group when you order). For me there is just something about seeing my name added to the scripture that makes the words feel really personal and it reminds me that the beautiful words of the bible are truly meant for me.
