Grow is the family film that feels like fall in full bloom! Here’s our Grow movie review ~
If fall were a movie, it would look (and smell!) a lot like pumpkin spice, golden leaves, and cozy sweaters and that’s exactly what Grow brings to the big screen. Opening in theaters October 17, this new family-friendly film is pure autumn magic from start to finish.
Set in the Pumpkin Capital of the World, Grow follows Dinah Little (Golda Rosheuvel), a stoic farmer who suddenly finds herself caring for her bright, imaginative niece Charlie (Priya-Rose Brookwell). But Charlie isn’t just any child, she has a special connection with plants that mirrors her longing to be seen and loved. Together, aunt and niece learn that sometimes, the family we need grows right where we least expect it.
Along the way, you’ll meet a colorful cast of small-town characters, from curmudgeonly farmers to over-the-top pumpkin rivals. And yes, even Charlie’s pumpkin “Peter” has a personality all his own! The story is whimsical, funny, and tender in all the right places. It’s perfect for a crisp fall evening with the family.

I especially loved how the story ties together faith, family, and the beauty of growing both in gardens and in our hearts.
If you’re looking for something light, uplifting, and full of fall spirit, this one’s worth seeing in theaters.
