The Imagination Station series checks every box. With over one million copies sold, Adventures in Odyssey chapter books have been trusted by families everywhere, and for good reason. The latest in the series, The Imagination Station Drought, Wind and Fire, is one you will want to check out! If you’ve been around here for a while, you know I love finding books that kids can enjoy while parents (and grandparents) can feel completely at ease handing them over.
Each book takes readers on an adventure across time and around the globe. The stories are historically accurate, packed with action, and my favorite part is highlighting the lives of brave Christians who followed God through dramatic and sometimes dangerous times. These are books kids actually want to read, and they don’t come with any of the “worry” parents sometimes feel about what’s inside. They’re clean, exciting, and filled with biblical values.
The newest release, The Imagination Station Drought, Wind, and Fire!, might be my favorite yet. This story drops readers into the days of the prophet Elijah, a time of drought, danger, and powerful miracles. Kids will see how God works even in the darkest moments, and how Elijah’s faith was tested in ways that still speak to us today. Honestly, even as an adult, I find myself encouraged by these stories. They are a reminder that God has always been faithful, and still is.
If you’re new to the Adventures in Odyssey series, you can start all the way back at Voyage with the Vikings and Attack at the Arena. The books also come in 3- and 6-packs, which makes them such a good deal. And they make perfect Christmas gifts for kids ages 7–12. The Imagination Station will keep them reading!

I’m pretty certain these books will be read, re-read, and loved.
